Last Friday, I spoke with the owner of a house just down the street from the apt. bldg. where I live. He’s asking $25,000 for the house. It’s a 4 br, 1 1/2 ba, 2-sty home that needs about $5000 worth of work.

I’d like to buy the house, problem is I’m unemployed, and have bad credit. Could I create my own mortgage in this case?

Any suggestions are appreciated.
