Just a couple of weeks ago Terry Vaughn called me regarding the seminar he does with Ed Garcia, and I made our official Chicago pitch for next years convention. I plead our cause beautifully but, apparently, unsuccessfully.
Just think of it…
- The world’s biggest, busiest airport! (Hartsfield? Oh Please.)
- I promised Michael Jordan as a keynote speaker. (Hey, it could happen!)
- Free rides to the top of Sears Tower the world’s tallest building. (Don’t talk to me about that thing they built over in southeast Asia. TV antennas don’t count here.)
- Tickets to Oprah & Jerry Springer.
And then there’s our food. When you’re looking for the world’s best steak and a deep dish pizza, who ya gonna call? What’s Georgia known for? Peaches and pecans! Who can make a meal on that?
Well, it looks like the curse of the Cubs has followed me. We was ROBBED! But just wait 'till next year!

You’re getting as bad as Uncle Sam. I HAD it all figured out.
I got to the Marshall Islands from July 26 to Jan 26,2001. That would have put t he Convention at a perfect time for me to take some leave and be good.
But Noooooooooooo, JP has to change it till a month later putting me back in the “Danger Zones”, LOL.
Hey, all I can promise…just keep having them until I retire and I KNOW I’ll make the 2004 one. Until then, we’ll see how things go.

Barring a meteor hit in the U.S.,the moon falling on the earth,and nuclear war breaking out we plan on being at the convention.We missed out on the last one because we did not have the funds or time to attend.With this much notice,my wife has already put in for time off(I can get off whenever i feel like it).

Just curious-but what is it about Atlanta that you CREOnline folks like to choose again as the host city?
I noticed that Vegas was the host city a couple of years ago, but it didn’t get picked again. Any other cities that you have considered, but they got crossed off of the list?

About 2/3 of our audience is from the East half of the
country. Atlanta is a major airport hub and you can
usually get inexpensive flights. The hotel we had this
year did a great job for us. Las Vegas out-priced itself
long ago. Besides, our attendees want to spend their
rare “free time” networking or just “hanging out” with
each other, not gambling.
