Though I may not have yet gleaned(sp?) the answer to my original question, I found Myfico.com today, did some reading and decided to sign up for free trial. It seems like a good idea, good news my FICO score is 653 now and climbing and you can actually use some simple simulations to see how making certain decisions can change your score.
