Crowdfunding is used by entrepreneurs and private individuals to breathe their dreams to life. I had a friend that was able to pull of her dream wedding using crowdfunding. I also read a lot of articles. You may also want to look up tips and tricks on running a successful campaign in crowdfunding.
What do you want to know?
I have used crowdfunding to fund the equity in some UK (yes, not the USA) deals.
In the USA, crowdfunding is less popular given the way the SEC implemented the requirements of the J.O.B.S. Act. Not good or bad. Just different and a bit hard to make it work for real estate. You can syndicate a deal on a deal by deal basis.
