Dallas Convention vs. the Guru’s - Posted by Dan (NC)

I just got back from a Russ Whitney sales pitch. Wanted to see what they gave away, and besides, his book’s not bad. Two and a half hours of superficial fluff (although I did get two new ideas). It all leads up to the big pitch. “If you really want to know how to do it, come to our three day seminar. Registration is only $3790, not including room, breakfasts, round table discussions, networking with the experts, photos posted on the web, etc.” And the people were lined up six deep at the table, credit cards waving, eyes glazing. I wanted to jump up, take the mike, and tell them about the Dallas convention, this site, and the great community it has nourished. But then I thought about how much competition that could create, and I quietly left. See y’all in Dallas.

3790 X all those people = a whole lot.
Do you think Russ is still doing deals???

Makes one wonder, doesn’t it?
