Thanks for the insight. I heard that LeGrand started out by going to a Robert Allen seminar but I did not know anything else about his path to the top.

Hi Stan, I’ve heard Dan Pena speak. He used to be Ron LeGrand’s mentor and taught Ron how to take the ‘Quantum Leap’ in LeGrand’s business–and it really has exploded in the last 4 years for anyone familar with LeGrand’s history.
My 2 cents: I REALLY didn’t care for Pena. He had a “plow everyone down on the way to big growth and big dollars” attitude (also said some pretty mean things about his wife and family during the talk, too). The other disturbing thing was his face remained beet-red from a kind of screaming-speaking style.
Anyway, he seemed to grow Ron’s business–but he is definitely in a league of his own–and not my style.
