Check with your county recorder’s office and with the probate court. If the heirs are a bit late with the taxes, it could be a good buy since the heirs are likely ooking to unlode it. It’s also possible you may get it from the county for taxes, depending on the laws in your area.
However, if the property is still tied up in Probate litgation, you might find out what’s taking so long, but you’ll probably want to pass on it.
