Deals in South Carolina - Posted by George

Hey Folks! Been reading the site for several days and am interested in knowing how South Carolina treats the issue of being a “dealer” I know it varies from state to state. Would anyone care to give me a little information on what hoops I would need to go through to work “Lonnie Deals” in the state of South Carolina?, or if you could just point me to a South Carolina State source and I will get the info myself.
By the way this site is really a “wealth” of information and “help”. I certainly appreciate the time you “Pros” take to help out “newbies”.
Thanks much,
George

If you sell 5 on more homes in a 12 month period you mush have a license. Of if you own 5 or more homes and sell any you need a license. Call Columbia information and ask for the Manufictured Housing Inst. and they can get you the contact info on a license cource. Or call SC Manufactured Housing Board (Columbia) and they will give you the info to purchase a code book. Hope this helps.
