And, I want to stress that I would document all attempts to locate the owners, photographs depicting the blight and danger/public nuisance and the fact that the home is a total loss just so that they can’t come back later and claim differently.

A home in my park burned really bad last weekend. The father/son tenants had minor injuries, but I (and their dog) haven’t seen them since the fire. They didn’t have insurance on the home and I am guessing they will just walk away and leave the mess for me to clean up. What is the best way to dispose of a home that is definitely not road worthy? I have thought of getting a bulk garbage container and dismantling it but wondered if there is an easier/chepar way.

Provided all law enforcement (such as arson investigation) is complete, I would hire a demolition crew to dismantle the remaineder of the home and haul it off.

Check papers such as the “Iwanna” etc. for such services.
