Hi.
A buyer of my rehab had a home inspection the other day. The inspector said there is a definite moisture problem in the basement. You can smell dampness when you walk downstairs and some mold has appeared on the drywall. There is no sign of water damage however. No leaks or standing water.
Can anyone suggest a fairly inexpensive way to mitigate this? I really hate to get into installing drain tiles around the house. Not sure of the cost, but I think in the 4-5k range?? Does anyone know?
