What I leave on a seller’s machine is not the question, but rather what I put on our machine that they hear when they call back, company name or personal names.

Dumb Question - Posted by ChuckD

I’m starting to use Joe Kaiser’s method of leaving messages on answering machines. My question, on our answering machine, should we identify ourselves as investors or just leave our first names. I haven’t seen this topic addressed before and we are not sure which would yield the best response.
Thanks,
Chuck

Chuck,
I have Kaiser’s Lease Option course. His approach
(on SFRs) is “Hi. I’m Joe (not some big company),
maybe I can buy your house.” I believe that the
“script” you are referring to is intentionally
amateurish.
