Usually code enforcement will give you a warning and order you to remove the signs before actually fining you. Maybe put up a small number of signs at first and see if code enforcement responds. If they do give you a hard time just put them up on the weekends.

Need some input here, boys and girls. Just got my bandit signs from the convention today, WHOOOOOOPEEEEEE!!!
The area that I live in has nazi code enforcement officers.
Question, which approach would you pursue?

A) Six foot ladder, roofing nails and long hammer, set and forget.
or

B) Wooden stakes put up Fri pm take down Sun pm.
