Jason If I had $150,000. to invest I wouldn’t start
out looking for an apartment complex. There are just too many risks involved to have all your money in one location. Many things can go wrong. You would be better off with a few smaller buildings. When something goes wrong it is a lot easier to get rid of a small building than it is a larger one.Vacancies,non-payments,extra expenses can wipe you out.Should you decide to go forward make sure you do your due diligence carefully.Verify everything. Leave nothing to chance.Look for a super location.lol

Ed,

I have $150,000 to invest with. I would like to get into owning an apartment complex. I imagine this is a decent down payment. How do I present this to a bank/mortgage company for a $500,000 to a $1,000,000 apartment complex?Which states make sense to you (AZ, CA, FL,etc?

Thank you for your help,

Jason J.
