In Texas consider the limited partnership instead. $750 one time fee versus $200 per member per year for an LLC/LLP.

Thanks for the responces to my previous post! I’m hearing… Several properties to an LLC, keeps book keeping to a minimum. I like that, but that means a single member LLC probably would not work because of charging order issues. Ok, use a multi member LLC right, then control distributions if faced with a charging order. Is there a problem with using ones spouse as the second member?
