I have a friend living in the USA for over 10 yrs. He’s a hardworker and a good character.
I’m trying to get him started to take charge in his life. He’s afraid to risk it because he lacks residency documents.
Is it possible for a non-resident to become an RE Investor in the USA?
I pushed him to start looking to purchase a 6FAM with store. To rent 5 apartments, and to start his own business with the store.
Can he buy property without residency papers?
Please help him-out, he’s a great guy!

I thank you on his behalf.

Your friend may be the greatet guy in the world.
But he’s not as great as my brother.
I bought my brother 4 houses so he could get a taste of real estate. He did just-okay.

Now a couple of years later he asked me to move em all for him as he doesn’t really think it is for him.
No sweat, he made a ton of money but never bought the vision.
The extent that you “have to get him started” will be inversely proportional to his own success.

Oh yeah. Your question? Don’t sweat the residency deal. It’s not even a problem at all.

Good Luck,
