That’s what FiFa stands for…I think its Latin for “Pay Up, Sucker.” They aren’t just used for tax liens…a judge can issue them as the result of lawsuits, judgments, etc.

And remember, especially if the FiFa isn’t money owed to the county, you can make a settlement offer just like any other lien against the property.

Several people, on and off the board, asked what a FIFA is, after I used the word in several of my posts.

It’s a taxlien, that is being put against the property, when the property taxes are delinquent. The can be purchased by companies/investors after certain documentation has been filed.

I don’t know what the letters stand for, but I’m sure someone else here does.
