I’m not very strong on CA taxation…there are issues for limited partners who are not in CA…do they get taxed in CA or in their home state or both? What kinds of credits for any CA taxes paid do they get in their home states? I could research the issue, but local counsel probably knows the answer cold.
I am gathering info regarding using a Nevada corporation general partnership as a syndicator with limited Partners doing real estate LP’s in California as to tax liabilities within California.
