Any holder of a debt can file his own foreclosure. HOWEVER, in your state, a corporation may need the representation of an atty in court. Solution: own the lien in the name of a trust, and file the suit as trustee.

I recently purchased Joe Kaiser’s course on Foreclosures and one thing he mentioned is that he files foreclosures on liens he has himself, rather than use a foreclosure attorney. He quotes a law that say certain kinds of corporations are legally able to file foreclosure. Does anyone know where I could get more information on exactly how to do this, particularly in Georgia?

Thanks
