So far, our best sources for hard money are competent (shall I put that in all caps?) mortgage brokers.
However, we are starting to have a few private individuals interested in playing the game with us.
Would suggest your local REI club… and check with reputable mortage and RE brokers.
Ask around.

I am interested in setting up a hard money company in the state of Oh, by attracting investors who would make a 15-18% return on their investment. I have a few years of real estate experience as an agent, as well as an investor. The questions to you are exactly where do I look for the investors that would be interested in investing and also are you required to hold a mortgage brokers licenses. All info on this subject or resources that I may use would be appreciated.
