Ramsay’s a great guy to listen to. He gained and lost a fortune in real estate because the bank he had 2 MIL with in loans sold to another bank and the new bank call the loans due. A real interesting but sad story. That’s why he’s a CASH only man now, never borrowing ANY money from anybody.
He’s worth listening to.

Yesterday I ‘stumbled’ onto a financial radio program with NONE OTHER than Dave Ramsey as the host (author of Financial Peace). It’s on 104.0 AM from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.–if anyone is interested.
His ‘pearls of wisdom’ to one caller was ‘GET RID OF YOUR CAR PAYMENT!’ He said it was the largest monthly expenditure (besides the house payment) and the biggest waste of money. […ain’t THAT tha truth…]

Sarasota at the time. (Actually, I heard Dave R. say that they were on the air for a three-hour time slot–even tho I only picked up one hour.)
Also, he said that he was on the Internet under www.DaveRamsey.com
The little bit I heard (while trying to replace a flat tire!!) sounded very interesting!
