Does this impact the intangible tax that appears on the buyers closing costs in property purchases in Florida?
If so does that mean if I close on 7/11/2006 I still get stuck with that?

The Florida legislature has passed, and the governor is expected to sign, a repeal of the intangibles tax effective Jan 1, 2007. Florida investors rejoice! No more intangibles tax (that you probably weren’t paying anyway, though technically you should have) will be owed on your LLC interests (owning real estate in an LLC converted it into intangible personal property).
