If you read the foreclosure notice in the paper it will usually say. Generally it’s a short amount of time, usually not more than 10 days.

If you make a bid on a property at a foreclosure auctions how long do you have to come up with the money. One day, a week, 30 days??

Here in Maryland, once a bid is accepted, the courts must ratify a auction sale which takes between 30-45 days. After the ratification, you have 10 days to pay the rest.

In our area, you must pay the day of the sale. I haev seen the trustee wait a couple of days if it the next day was a holiday and the buyer was someone they knew.
