i got a deed, sellers were far behind on payments…i had a ready buyer…
we were closing 2 days after foreclosure day and i knew the house was in or going in 4clsr…we called Countrywide mortgage and they assured us that there was no foreclosure for dec 4th…i even had the buyers lender call also and they were told the same. (the mortgage company told us that there were “things” that they needed to do before it would be posted…so there was no need for us to be concerned.
We closed. 20 days later the closing office gets back the mortgage pay-off check! the lender did take it back on the courthouse steps!..now the title company is dealing with the situation.
1)yes the appointment of substitute trustee appeared on schedule C
