When the notice of default is sent to a homeowner does that record go to the courthouse that same day

The recording of the NOD is usually priority number one. That is what starts the clock running so it comes first.

Where I am in Virginia it appears to hit the courthouse about 3-5 business days prior to the homeowner recieving the NOD
