I have a similar question for all you “seasoned investors”. If you “domesticate” your LLC in another state, are you following the KISS principe or being foolish? I’d like to avoid creating another 1065/K-1 entity if I can. Thanks for any wise words out there. Beth

I have property in Illinois, and live in Wisconsin. If I title the property in a Wisconsin LLC, why do I have to register with Illinois as a ‘foreign corporation’? The Wisconsin LLC is not doing business anywhere, it’s just holding title.
