We get the term ‘Lonnie deal’ from the book, Deals On Wheels, written by Lonnie Scruggs, one of the hosts of this board. Lonnie has pioneered new techniques for making big bucks with small investments by buying mobile homes in parks for cash, then reselliing them for double or triple their cost by taking small downpayments and financing the balance himself.
Rates of return often run in the 100% to 200% range. Small risk and big upside potential.
Lonnie is the grandfather of the used mobile home business for private investors, hence the term, “Lonnie Deal”.
