Funding sources - Posted by Email question

Along with the post I gave in response to Jackie’s question in Newsgroup 1, ((http://www.creonline.com/wwwboard/messages/23149.html)) there is another resource I wanted to mention.

The Paper Source has a feedback section on funding sources for notes and other types of paper. It is at
http://www.papersourceonline.com/discus/

The responses are from all over and range from brokers hyping their own services to hecklers (usually annonymous) that put down everybody, so don’t rely on just one message. If someone is un-reliable, un-scrupulous or hard to deal with it usually shows up.

Noteworthy has implemented a similar feedback forum. I’ll look for that URL and post it later.

John,

Along with the 3 sites you gave on CREO for sources to sell notes to, what is your opinion of FSB in Arkansas and FNSC in TX? Have you had any dealings with them?

Thanks,

Lynn Henley

Dealt with FNSC over a year ago, The deal went for 45 days, 2 days before close they lowered their buying LTV from 80% to 75%. Anyway it killed the deal and wasted my time. I’ve heard good things about FSB from newsgroup one when Ben, Ind. posted his success story with them, never used them though.
