I called my local Housing Authority and they sent me a packet about section 8 housing. It included a landlord guide, inspection form and information on how to apply. Hope this helps. mmk in ga.

I am very excited about getting started in real estate investing.I am interested in re-hab work because I can do almost all the work myself. Also interested in section 8 housing. Where do I start and how do I get started. Any information would greatly appreciated.

Larry, what I did was go to my local public and University libraries and do key word searches in their databases. I found numerous books on REI.

You’d be amazed at the selection and its free. Speaking of rehabs, I found, “buy it, fix it, sell it” by whatchamacallit (can’t remember his name). Pretty good book if you prefer fix ups.

If the library doesn’t have what you’re looking for, you have to buy it.
