Glossary of Real Estate Terms - Posted by Michael David Hiltner
Posted by Michael David Hiltner on February 03, 2002 at 16:51:47:
Thank you for reading my post. I am the latest of freshmen in this topic of Real Estate Purchases for investment purposes. I am so fresh in this field, that I am still waiting for Mr. Becks course. In the meantime, I have been flushing the internet picking everyone’s heads picking up information here and there.
What I am realy lacking is a Glossary of the terms used in this field.
I would realy appreciate it if you could direct me towards a website where I could find such acrynomnes like (L/O) etc. There must be hundreds of these type of terms.
If these terms are covered in one of these real estate courses, and if you have a scanner, I sure wouldn’t mind you scanning a few pages, so I could implement such information, as noted below.
Once I gather enough of these term, I would like to create a webpage to assist other newbies to this hobby.
Please e-mail me your thoughts, scans, etc. >> to:
the.hiltner.family@sympatico.ca rather than clogging up this reflector. Once I have gathered enough information, I’ll re-post to everyone where they can view my collective efforts.
Once again, your time and effort is appreciated in advance.

If you would just like to pick up a book, then I suggest: Dictionary of Real Estate Terms it is by Barrons. I have a 2000 edition and it covers everything from A-Z I think I paid about $8. Well worth it!! Good Luck, dave
