There’s a thread further down “Is there any way to do a free Title Search” under:

http://www.creonline.com/wwwboard/messages/13176.html

In this thread “BR” writes"

"Bryan Wittenmyer wrote a book entitled “Hidden Secrets of a Real Estate Technician” that has a chapter devoted to doing title searches. It is definitely worthwhile reading if you are serious about learning how to do it. I have been doing my own for years and am quite comfortable doing so, but when I get a whif of a problem in the chain, I get a professional report done. When it comes to title reports, ‘you just have to know for sure’. Bryan’s book can be found at www.wealthnetwork.com. There is also a chapter on title insurance that has some very good info in it also. "

Hopes this helps

Anyone know of any good material that teaches how to run title searches on property, when buying property fast.

i.e if you are buying foreclosures or all cash offers in a day. books explaining pitfalls when looking at title, etc…

Thanks in advance. Les.
