Mt Vernon is the county seat of Jefferson county, this is one county over. At least it’s a little bigger that anything in Washington Co.

My family has property in Marion County, Salem is the seat, and it’s hard to find values here as well.

Washington Co. is to the east and Marion Co. is to the north-east.

Maybe try a Realtor (by phone) out of either city to help. They, as of yet, have been of little help to us.

Does anyone know of a good way to get comp searches for Washington County Illinois. The co prop appraiser does nto have a website that I can locate, nor does the tax assesor. I am trying to help someone with a home loan, but I cannot get even close to an idea on the value because of the area. Can anyone help me help this gentleman out?

Nashville, Illinois is the county seat of Washington County. Wash. Co. is very rural so it may be difficult to get comps. Call a realtor in Nashville, Illinois and they should be able to help.
