The programs would be detailed in The Catalog Of Federal Domestic Assistance at http://www.cfda.gov/. It is searchable and viewable for free at that site and can be found at the reference section of your local library if you want to read a hard copy.

If you have any problems locating info, a free call to the government at 1-800-688-9889 or http://fic.info.gov/ will get you on track.

Most of these federal programs are administered locally by your city/county housing or community development departments. Give them a call for free information. They can be found in the government pages of your phone book.

One last place that comes to mind with a lot of free or low cost federal info is the Consumer Information Center at http://www.pueblo.gsa.gov/

I recently bought a 27 unit apartment complex which needs rehab of about 100,000 to get it back to where it needs to be for me to rent them out. They are in an area of low income and I want to know if there are any loan progams out there that can help me get them rehabed? any suggestions would be appreciated
