As a newbie getting into this thing, I wonder if anyone knows of good hard money lenders in NC, particularly in eastern NC. Also: are hard $ guys more or less “tied” to any particular geographical area? I have received offers of financing from people WAY out of state, and being new, wonder about what I need to be looking for. I need financing for up to 90% of appraised price (not purchase price) for several properties that I an looking at with out of state, motivated owners. I think the deals are right, but, since I am new, want to make sure that I am going at the financing in the right way.
