The best way to get pre-foreclosures is down at the courthouse. if you want a FREE service to do comps on Domania.com is good.

I did the free trial, wasn’t useful in my area (NJ). It came up with REO’s or homes that I already had from reading the legal ads in my newspaper. I cancelled before the trial was over because they’ll automatically sign you on UNLESS you go in and cancel.

I used it for a short period of time. It was not very useful in my area. Most of the properties were REO. The ones that were in pre-foreclosure provided pretty limited info.
I believe they had a free trial period. It wouldn’t hurt to sign up and see if it has value in your area.
