Check the rental section of your paper and see or call and find out what they are asking and how much to move in. Shouldn’t take more than an hour of your time.As far as finding renters, they are all over. Trouble is finding a good one. Check credit, past two landlords, job etc. If they make excuses don’t waste time with them. Ask questions, if you don’t get the right answers tell them you will let them know. Be careful to treat everyone the same way so as not to run afoul of the discrimination laws.

Hi,

Ok, I was ready for this, when my wife asked me a question that hold me still. She asked: how do I find renters that would pay $1500 - $1800 a month. (we rent a basement for dirt cheap and can’t see that is affordable (according to my income) HELP?

What is the best way to figure rents in an area?
