You need to contact an insurance broker who has been around a long time, and specialized in commercial property insurance.

Hi everyone, I’m a frustrated RE investor who is having an impossible time finding property insurance on an 8 unit building in Pennsylvania. It seems like nobody is underwriting commercial residential policies and those that do are asking for astronomical premiums that kill any cash flow in the deal. Does anyone have advice or input? I’ve already tried all the insurers that have policies for me on my duplex, triplex, and SFH’s.
