I have same problem with AOL3.0 &4.0… I am no computer buff but this what I do; I get on line with aol . Then I minimize AOL and go into Microsoft Internet Explorer. AOL is a pain. Its my understanding that if you do not have microsoft explorer that you can go to Microsoft Webpage and down load it for free. Hope this makes sense.

I have America on line 4.0 version. Unfortunately I couldn’t follow J.P.V.'s intructions on how to get connected to the chat room. She has a different version. Can any of you give me a hand with this.

Hi!
This is what I do in AOL 4.0.

I use my insider’s password and type it in at the bottom of the web page which gives you info on how to get into the chat room if you are using other methods. Then simply press submit and in I go.

I used to try the mIRC method but could never connect to the chat room.
