I am about to close on a property (my first). I could only get 80% of the purchase price financed. I’ll have $5,000 in equity at close. I need to get a home equity or a second mortgage as soon as possible because I have a couple of other hot properties that I need to cover closing cost on (the owner of my next property will not accept less than 10% on a land contract, but it’s a great house). Does anyone have any contacts for this second loan? My credit is less than stellar, but my debt ratio is good. I’ll also be looking for a second on my next property where I’ll have almost 25% equity at close (if I can come up with the money I need for the close).
