the company that handled the escrow may have paid for it and have the company name. also i imagine the real estate office that handled the sale likely still uses the same outfit, so talk to the receptionist if the agent is unavaiable. why is the agent unresponsive? he/she may assume you are calling about a claim for them to handle. leave a very specific message about what you need.

My brother bought a home last year, and his home warranty plan is
about to expire. The problem is that he has no information about who to
contact with a claim–or even where to file a claim. No one ever gave him
any paperwork on it, and his Realtor doesn’t return his phone calls on this
or any other issue.
So I was wondering whether anyone could help me out by heading me in the right
direction.
