If you look at the terms of the agreement I think you will see that you have to pay for every visit to your home. There is a “deductable” for every trip to your house involving work.

In my opinion, the warranties are about worthless. If you can do some of the work yourself and you know how to hire handypersons in your local area, you should not buy one in my view.

Very occasionally somebody gets a good payoff from such a warranty. Most times, nope.

can anyone tell me whether a one year home warrantee is worth buying. For about 350.00 up front offered thru realtor I can have any problems with home or appliances covered for one year after initial purchase. Home is 20 years old and has original roof and HVAC.
