In the old days not to long ago, you could purchase a house on Friday and on Monday refinance it, if you had everything with the lender set up in advance.
Now the lenders what you to hold the house for a specific amount of time, one year I believe is common. Thus the term “seasoning” have the loan in you name for awhile.

pretty houses to buyers, and junkers to rehabbers deals be profitable if “seasoning” is an issue because your name is not on title and you’re selling for a higher price?
