You do not own the property, but you do hove the right to buy it. This is called an option. You can sell anything that you own. This would include your option. So when you sell your option you sell the right to buy the property.
Your real estate agent will be delighted that you called.

I have an option to purchase a property and i want to list it with a real estate agent. Can i do this or do i have to get the person that is giving me the option to list it ? I technically don’t own the property, but i do have the option to buy it.
