I agree with Troy. You make your money when you buy. However you REALIZE your money (profit) when you sell or rent. Buying right is the key. Always.

Just wondering how those of you with experience usually find the most profitabe deals for rehabbing and flipping. Is it through realtors, looking for abandoned properties, out of state owners, REOs or other sources?

Any comments or suggestions would be great to help me out of a slump right now.

And don’t forget Foreclosure Sales and advertising. I never know where the ‘best’ deals may come from. It takes work, alot of it. Ever heard the expression here “You make your money when you buy”? Well, to make that ‘buy’,I put in alot of hours/days searching with zero payback. But, if you stick with it, maybe, just maybe, you’ll find what you’re looking for.
