You can rent the house because your lease agreement with the owner permits subleasing. You need never own a property in order to lease it to others. Leasing with right to sublease is common in commercial property.

I keep reading articles about people lease optioning a house from someone else and then lease optioning it to someone else.
I don’t understand how you can rent out the house you lease option. Am I understanding lease options correctly. You do not own the house until you exercise your option so how can you rent it out to someone else.
