I not real sure how much inspections are $150.00 max but appraisals for a basic home can range between $350.00-$500.00 . Of course the real expensive homes can be alot more. I have a good friend that is a appraiser and he charges in that range. If you go get your own appraisal the bank you deal with might not use it. Thanks Dave

Well depending on where you are the cost can range from $300-$500. In Texas in particular, I know that FHA is about $25 mor thn a convetional, with the conventional being about $375.
