How can I find SOLD comparables on MLS

for Oroville, California 95966?

It's easy to find current listings

or to register and have 200 sales agents

phone and email me...

I'm comfortable to surrender the email address

that I use for junk mail,

but I prefer not to give my phone number.

Have already looked at Zillow .com.

Your suggestions would be appreciated!

Thank you,

Pat

Forget zillow. Its so far off as to be near useless. I would just contact an agent (I use homegain.com to find one because the initial contact is via e-mail and you can read their proposal to what you are asking for before responding - I have found a few great agents this way). An agent is not going to stalk you. They will help as long as they think its in their best interest (there is a limit to how much work a person will do for a stranger when it becomes obvious it won’t result in money to help feed the family).

Thank you Rich,

I have already received feedback from

3 agents who have seen the house and 3 who haven’t.

I’m still looking for a way to access the

MLS SOLD comps online for free.

Thank you again,

Pat

OK, now I understand what you want. You cannot do it. That data is collected from and only available to MLS members, who pay a fee and have RE licenses.

I have seen numerous real estate agent’s sites

that offer anyone the ability to search

the MLS for free via their site,

but none of them so far have been members of my local

board that includes sold comps for zip code 95966.

I believe SOLD comps can be found for free on the net

and am hoping someone will point me to the correct web address(es).

Thank you again.

I have found Zillow to be good only from the stand point of showing actual sales. Domania.com is good to show what has sold, as well as eppraisal.com and cyberhomes.com. They all show actual sales and all the data on the homes that sold.
