I know this has been posted a million times, but I have never had to deal with it and so I just skipped it. Unfortunately now I have the problem. I had a tenant hide a dog from me and when I went in to check the place out during my monthly visit, I was almost knocked over by the smell of dog urine ! I have since kicked the lady and her dog out and have used 4 or more carpet deodorizers, but now it just smells like dog urine and carpet deodorizer !! Help !!

If the carpet smells that bad, it is probably in more than one spot. Replacing the carpet and the foam pad will take of most of it but you might also want to put down a coating or two on the floor board of poloyreathene. This will seal in all smells and if other dog urinates of the floor it will not seep into the floor wood.
