You can go back and recovery(refile) up to three years taxes with the IRS. Most accountants get back want you want them to until you are satified, but there is usually more.

Hi Folks,
it was a bummer of an idea - I was speculating on getting 5% from the IRS… and then found a nice place, which cannot be financed. Q: has nayone ever tried to retrieve an overpayment of current taxes from the IRS? I own other properties clear, but hate the 10% hard loan fee… until March 2004 when I anticipate a full refund with interest. Ta!
