I have missed seeing your posts recently, hope you stick around a while.

I would be very interested in 1,2 & 3. For 4, do you have any information on private wells and other infrastructure related issues?

My MH mover’s great! - Posted by Jerry Freeman

I think there must be a lot of variation among MH movers, just like dealers or anything else. I just heard of a mover around here (a guy I know, who tried to sell me a trailer for $1500 that you couldn’t pay me to take) taking $1300 from someone to cover some regulatory costs in advance of a job moving several homes and then disappear with the money without doing the work. The guy I work with, however is terrific. (The irony is that it was the crook who put me in touch with him.) His prices are very resonable and he always does exactly what he says he’ll do. Also, he seems to like me and want me to succeed. He gives me good advice and shares some of his connections.

Best wishes,
Jerry

in the archives of this forum.

Try doing an archive search on “Whisler.” You’ll be amazed at the amount and quality of information you get. Then try doing a search on “Jacque.” Then do one on “JHyre.” Then do one on “Lyle.” Then do one on “Tony-VA” Then do one on “Chuck (AZ).” Then do one on “ScottS(NC).” Etc. You get the idea.

Best wishes,
Jerry

I’m busier than hell. It also scares the you-know-what out of me to post as much as I do as fast as I do, even on topics with which I am very, very familiar. It’s too easy to make a mistake or be misunderstood. Nice to see you posting again.
