How to search recent posts??? - Posted by Carter

Posted by Carter on April 14, 2006 at 20:15:45:

I know this isn’t really a RE topic, but how do I search recent posts? I’m looking for one that would be on page two (if there was one). Specifically, it was talking about sending someone a dollar a day. I thought it was a brilliant idea, but I can’t seem to find the post.

Can anyone help?

Carter,

I think it was JT (IN) who made that post a few days ago. It was in
response to a guy who had problems with the heirs (5 of them). Two
of them were out of the country and the other three were un-
cooperative.

Since they were potentially in a situation where they could end up with
nothing, it caused some amazement that they would take the un-
cooperative attitude.

JT suggested sending them a dollar a week, saying that there “could”
be a much larger payday for them if they changed their mind(s). And
that by spending only a few dollars a week, the investor was risking
very little by trying this.

This tactic met with quite a bit of approval, as I recall, and several
people said they would like to try this new idea as they regarded it as
“inspirational” (if memory serves correctly)

Hope this helps,

Brad

Wrong one. The original post had something to do w/ a seller that was being a little stuborn. Someone suggested the poster send a dollar a day to the seller telling him/her that they could get the rest of their money when they signed a sales contract. I am trying to buy a vacant house, and I think after a couple more letters to the owner, I’m going to try that approach.

Way off on that one…by a whole year, no less. Sorry for the goose chase. I remember that post you are talking about.

It seems that CREO is not archiving posts and hasn’t for a long time. If I archive “Killer Joe” it shows a 1644 thread count number, and that has been stagnant for as long as I remember. I did this same check on a few of the other posters and thier numbers haven’t climbed either. Maybe Jeanne can give us an explaination…who knows.

Best investing,

KJ

You did, however, identify the correct author
